The Credit Sale Transaction Flow
1. Start the Sale
Tap Sale, enter the amount, and press Confirm.
2. Add a Tip
Enter a tip amount or bypass if not applicable.
3. Present the Card
Insert, swipe, or use manual card entry.
4. Sign & Confirm
Customer signs on-screen; remove the card to complete the transaction.
Advanced Transaction Options
Beyond a standard sale, the A80's QRG documents a Forced Sale (7 steps: enter amount, card entry, enter the original transaction's Auth Code, Server ID, signature, status), a Tip Adjust workflow (8 steps: Func → Tip Menu → search by Clerk/Server ID or Operator → select the transaction → Adjust → confirm → enter the new tip amount and confirm → status), and Close Batch / Reprint options (Func → Batch → Batch Close, with or without untipped transactions; separately, Func → Print → Print Last, Print Detail, or Print Any).
